2001 Convention in New Orleans

The annual convention of Personal Chefs Network was held April 19-21, 2001 in New Orleans, LA. This photo was taken with Christopher Kimball of Cook's Illustrated Magazine at a roundtable discussion that followed a dynamic panel discussion about “Staying Ahead of the Curve” during the Gourmet Products Show. Discussed were emerging cuisine trends on the horizon by a panel of industry experts that included Mr. Kimball, Renée Behnke, President of Sur La Table, and Pat Adrian, Editorial Director of The Good Cook.

Wendy and I worked very hard pulling our first convention together and our efforts paid off. We even relaxed and had some fun.

On the morning of our departure from a very successful FIRST convention, PCN surprised it's members by hiring horse drawn carriages to ferry members to an awaiting feast at the famous Court of Two Sisters. It was Sunday morning in the French Quarter and the perfect time for a tour on our way to our Farewell Brunch. Enjoy seeing the shots of what was a most memorable morning.
