The Houston Area Chapter of Personal Chefs Network was the FIRST chapter to gather at Personal Chefs Network and they meet every six weeks to share information, take cooking classes, teach cooking classes, enter cooking contests, discussing marketing strategies, share recipes, and to enjoy each other's company!

March 2003

The Houston Area Chapter of Personal Chefs Network met at Cafe Express in Uptown Park on March 7, 2003. Presiding over the meeting was Head Chef Norie Berndt. The chapter discussed upcoming food events, business ideas, elected new officers, and Sharon Worster gave a pressure cooker demonstration.

December 2002

On December 13, 2002 the Houston Chapter of Personal Chefs Network met in the home of Chermayne Kennedy for their annual Christmas Gathering. They enjoyed a meal of Crawfish Etouffee and various appetizers before sharing gifts.

The pictures are of the Personal Chef's Fair held on November 23 at Sam's Club in Irving, TX where local Personal Chefs Network members entertained the crowds with wonderful food samples.


 

August 2002

August 2, 2002 was the date for the PCN Houston Area Gathering, held in the home of Norie Berndt, Head Chef of the Houston Chapter. Newly elected Sous Chef for the Chapter is Annette Woodward of Houston. Norie was hostess for a lobster boil! Following dinner a powerful meeting was called by Chef Norie to discuss upcoming area events. December 2001

The Houston Area Personal Chefs Network Christmas Gathering was held in the famed Galleria Mall at The Cheesecake Factory where they enjoyed lunch together and had their annual gift auction.   This year the chapter welcomed several new members to the organization and shared information about how they obtained their first clients and marketing tips for the coming new year.


Here is Chef Sue Gaughenbaugh holding her new cookbook hoping no one will pick it as THEIR gift!  This was also Sue's going away party as she is moving to New York City to attend culinary school.
